Evergreen Senior Living FAQ

Have a senior living-related question? We have the answer. Check out these FAQs and give us a call today for more information!

  • Does Evergreen accept Medicare?

All of Evergreen’s programs are private-pay. Residents at our senior living community are often able to secure reimbursement through Long Term Care insurance or the Department of Veterans Affairs.

  • Does Evergreen provide transportation?

Evergreen Heights and Evergreen Meadows residents have access to our complimentary transportation service for scheduled medical appointments between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. As a premier senior living community, we want to be sure all of our residents can get where they need to go.

  • I need help managing my medications. What assistance is available?

All of our assisted living and memory care programs offer medication management. According to Consumer Affairs, about 70% of people will require assisted living care at some point in their lifetime. If you're in that population, call us today to learn more about how we can help!

  • What does the admissions process look like?

The first step in the admissions process is completing a contact sheet with your personal contact information. Once a prospective resident indicates intent to move forward, we will ask them to complete a self-assessment, which includes questions about medical history and present health. The next step is an in-person evaluation that is used to assess fit and whether we can meet the prospective resident’s needs. If the answer to that question is yes, Evergreen will offer an apartment at one of our senior living communities to said individual.

  • I am a social butterfly and appreciate spending time with people. What kind of social life could I hope to enjoy at Evergreen?

Over the past year, Evergreen has hosted musical groups such as the Soundz of Time, the Golden Throats, the Suzuki Piano School, and many more in the name of creating an environment for residents to get out and enjoy themselves. Activity offerings vary by facility and include bingo, craft classes, ladder ball, and more. Residents of our senior living community are encouraged to share meals with their neighbors in our dining rooms and utilize our recreation facilities whenever possible.
